Another Student Example!

Once again we get a great example of learners working at home on things that are of interest to them! I can't say enough how excited I am seeing this type of work!

Here is one of our students James Cao sharing his observations of some caterpillars found in his home garden.

Clearing Sod

Our job this morning was to clear sod in the area to prepare it for a future butterfly garden. We finished it up NA style!

Service Learning at Cuyahoga Valley National Park

I had a great time going up north with the 8th grader last Tuesday. We visited Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

During our time, we completed a service project helping them remove sod for a future butterfly garden.

We also spent a lot of time on a short hike with a geologist, studying the rock formations in the park.
