Welcome back!

Sir Ken Robinson speaks about creativity in schools. He mentions a study found in the book Breakpoint and Beyond: Mastering the Future Today, by George Land and Beth Jarman.

He talks specifically about students' ability (or inability) to come up with multiple uses for a paper clip. Our 6th grade class took on this challenge today in class. This is what we came up with!

After watching, take a few minutes to brainstorm individually what you might produce.

Keep in mind a few things that you will need to be mindful of:

• entertainment value - it needs to be entertaining!
• content knowledge - you need to show what you know!
